ABOUT THIS COURSECreate library spaces that are more welcoming, comfortable, and accessible. On-Demand: (You will have access to the course for six months after registration.) Libraries serve communities with a wide range of sensory needs. This one-hour, online lightning learning introduces the foundations of sensory-friendly library design. You will explore small, meaningful changes that can make a big difference for patrons of all ages, including neurodivergent individuals and those with sensory sensitivities. You will leave this one-hour lightning session with practical ideas for creating more sensory-friendly library environments and a stronger understanding of how accessibility supports everyone. This is an online, 1-hour lightning learning. You’ll earn one hour of PD credit and a Library Journal certificate of completion.
