Advocating for the freedom to read can feel overwhelming, especially if you feel like you don’t have support. This one-hour, online lightning learning will cover practical strategies that you can use to build local support in the fight against censorship. We will discuss the legal limits of advocacy, how to gain buy-in from allies, and the most up-to-date tactics to confront new and emerging challenges.

You will leave this one-hour lightning session with practical ideas for how to continue and sustain intellectual freedom in 2026 and beyond.
