Live sessions via Zoom: Emotional intelligence and relationship building are at the center of library outreach, but they also extend into DEI initiatives, safety, and workplace culture. This interactive half-day course will give you the initial tools to better understand how to build emotional intelligence within yourself so that you can create and maintain positive professional relationships in your library. You will leave with tangible ideas for how to gain emotional intelligence, build new relationships, strengthen existing ones, and repair relationship ruptures with colleagues, staff, and patrons. The live sessions run on Tuesdays, October 21 and 28, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm ET (recorded for on demand viewing) with an ongoing facilitator-led workshop over 2 weeks. Don’t miss this opportunity!
